Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the remote automotive coding services provided by QBTEcu — VAG Remote Coding (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Provider”). By booking or using our services, you (“the Client”) agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Service Description

We provide professional remote ECU coding, adaptation and diagnostic services for VAG Group vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, SEAT, Lamborghini, Bentley) using official ODIS software with active GRP (formerly GEKO), FaZit and SFD online access.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Component Protection (CP) removal via FaZit online
  • Immobilizer (IMMO) operations and key adaptation via GRP online
  • Software Version Management (SVM) and ECU flashing
  • SFD / SFD2 online authorisation
  • Retrofit coding — ACC, CarPlay, Matrix headlights, Virtual Cockpit, driver assist systems and more
  • ECU parameterisation and dataset downloads
  • Reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)

All services are performed remotely via encrypted VPN connection to the Client’s VCI interface. The Client’s vehicle must be physically present and the VCI interface connected throughout the session.

2. Required Hardware

The Client must have the following hardware and software in order to receive the service:

  • VCI Interface: OEM VAS 6154 or VNCI RED 6154A only. No other interfaces are supported for GRP online functions.
  • Windows laptop: Running Windows 10 or 11. No ODIS installation required on the Client’s side — ODIS is operated by us remotely.
  • VPN software: Radmin VPN and SoftEther VPN (free, provided during setup).
  • Stable internet connection: Wired or strong Wi-Fi. Mobile hotspot is not recommended.
  • Stable vehicle power supply: Battery charger connected to the vehicle during the session is strongly recommended.

We are not responsible for failed or incomplete sessions caused by incompatible hardware, unstable internet, or insufficient vehicle power supply.

3. Booking and Payment

  • Services are booked via our online booking form or directly via WhatsApp.
  • Full payment is required before the session begins. We do not start any remote session without prior payment.
  • Accepted payment methods: Revolut and PayPal.
  • Prices are as stated on our website. Custom jobs (Lamborghini, Bentley, complex retrofits) are quoted individually.
  • A VAT invoice will be issued upon request after payment is confirmed.

4. Identity and Ownership Verification

Before any session, the Client must provide the following documents:

  • Valid government-issued ID — ID card, passport or driving licence
  • Vehicle registration document (technical certificate)
  • Photo of the vehicle with visible licence plate
  • Photo of the VIN number (dashboard or door frame)

This verification is mandatory under our contractual agreement with Volkswagen Group and cannot be waived under any circumstances. Providing false or fraudulent documents is a serious offence and may result in legal action.

Documents are stored securely and retained for 15 years as required by our VW Group service agreement. See our Error Codes Flash Files Privacy Policy for full details.

5. No Warranty for Used, Modified or Blocked Parts

⚠️ Important: We provide no warranty, guarantee or refund for services performed on used, second-hand, modified, damaged, incompatible or blocked components.

Specifically, we are not responsible for:

  • Parts that are blacklisted, flagged as stolen, or blocked in the VW Group system — coding cannot be performed on such parts and no refund will be issued
  • Used or second-hand parts that are damaged, modified or incompatible with the target vehicle
  • Incorrect control units supplied by the Client (wrong part number, wrong generation, wrong region)
  • Pre-existing faults in the vehicle wiring, gateway, or other modules that prevent successful coding
  • Parts already attempted by another coder or workshop that may have left the module in an unknown state

The Client is responsible for verifying the origin and compatibility of all parts before booking. If you are unsure, contact us first.

6. Limitations of Liability

All work is performed at the Client’s own risk. We are not liable for:

  • Internet outages or VPN disconnection during an active session — if a session is interrupted due to the Client’s internet connection, we will attempt to reconnect and resume where possible, but cannot guarantee completion
  • Power drops — if the vehicle loses power during programming or flashing, this may result in a bricked module. Always use a battery charger.
  • Hidden faults in the vehicle, wiring or modules that were not disclosed before the session
  • Consequential or indirect damages — including loss of use, loss of data or damage to other vehicle systems resulting from the service
  • Actions taken by the Client after the session, including further modifications or coding by other parties

Our maximum liability to the Client shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service session in question.

7. Refund Policy

  • If we are unable to complete a job due to a fault on our side (e.g. access issue, software error), a full refund will be issued.
  • If a job cannot be completed due to blacklisted, stolen, incompatible or damaged parts supplied by the Client, no refund is issued.
  • If a session is interrupted due to the Client’s internet or power failure, we will attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.
  • Once a session is successfully completed and confirmation screenshots are sent, the service is considered delivered and no refund is applicable.

8. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about the vehicle and parts
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked safely with the engine off during the session
  • Have a battery charger connected throughout the session
  • Maintain a stable internet connection during the session
  • Not interfere with the VCI interface or laptop during the remote session
  • Not use the service for any vehicle or part they do not legally own
  • Not use the service for illegal modifications or to circumvent vehicle theft protection on stolen vehicles

9. Prohibited Uses

The service must not be used for:

  • Vehicles or parts that are stolen or reported as missing
  • Circumventing immobiliser systems on vehicles not owned by the Client
  • Any purpose that violates applicable EU or national laws

We reserve the right to refuse service to any Client without explanation and to terminate a session immediately if we suspect fraudulent activity or misuse.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all Client information, vehicle data and documents as strictly confidential. We do not share details of any session with third parties except as required by law or our VW Group contractual obligations.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Czech courts, without prejudice to the Client’s rights as an EU consumer.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on this page with the date of last update. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
